The Blacksmith's Arms was reportedly haunted by the sounds of banging doors, and an investigation by a local research group claimed to experience sudden temperature drops. However, the building is no longer a pub, but believed to be an Indian restuarant.

According to King, the road from Thurleigh to Ravensen is haunted by a phantom coach and four.

The apparition of a figure is said to haunt the road from Ravensden to Wilden. The figure has been described as an elderly woman "with a malevolent expression”, wearing black garments that trail behind her. She has been reported during the hours of daylight.

Wilden Manor Farm is said to be haunted, although the author Coxe fails to indicate the nature of the phenomena. However, he does state that when he was last there (circa 1970’s), he heard that the farmer wanted to build a bungalow in it’s place but there was no reason given as to why.
