Chadwell End

Located at Chadwell End is a Holy Spring that was once known as St. Chad’s Well. At the turn of the 20th Century, water was still being bottled and used as a cure for sore eyes. According to the author Coxe, the well lies within the property of Chadwell Farm, so permission should be sought before exploring it.

NB We do not advocate the use of any wells featured on this site and cannot vouch for their alleged qualities.
