The Miraculous Well

The Miraculous Well is located on the Pangbourne Road, near two kilns. The well is always full but never overflows, hence its name.

NB We do not advocate the use of any wells featured on this site and cannot vouch for the alleged qualities.

The Rectory

The Rectory was said to be haunted by "the most charming ghost in England"!

This title was earned through the appearance of a female ghost in grey silk loved parties, and led farmers wives to hidden hen’s eggs if they had run out at home.
