The Spa

There is a white-water spring here that is said to cure “the halt and the lame”, and allegedly some have found crutches left there. Bath House (pictured above) may relate to the Spurstow Spa, the site of which is in a wood to the southeast.

Spurstow is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, which is located 6½ miles to the north west of Nantwich.
