King Arthur and the Mermaid

According to legend, King Arthur, his Knights and their white horses sleep here, waiting to be called when Britain needs them. It is also believed that long ago a large expanse of water stretched between Alderley Edge to High Legh, and it was home to a mermaid that would appear each Easter.
