Our Lady of Nantes Well

This well is said to have divinatory powers if visited on Palm Sunday, with a palm in one hand and an offering held in the other. It is said that if the palm sinks, the person will die in the next year.

This well is located at Melncoose Mill, although Coxe (see below) does not state what purpose it serves.

Colan (Cornish: Kolan) is a village and civil parish in mid-Cornwall, England.

It is situated approximately three miles east of Newquay.
