St. Cuthbert’s Well

St. Cuthbert’s Well is located in a cave off the beach on Holywell Bay, which lies just outside of the village. The well was believed to cure itching, scurf and dandruff. According to one source, the virtues of this water were first discovered on All Hallow's Day.
