The Poldark Mine

Poldark Mine

Poldark Mine is a tourist attraction that lies within the Wendron Mining District of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site. It includes a guided tour through ancient tin mine workings, a museum of mining equipment and craft workshops.

According to Haunted Britain, the mine has "several spectres". Phenomena include strange noises, "swirling mists" on photographs, a figure in brown and voices recorded. It is documented that one investigative group recorded a "gruff voice subjecting them to a barage of spectral abuse".
