The Fairy Steps

The Fairy Steps

Just outside the village you will find the Fairy Steps situated in a curious little grotto (pictured above). Nestled in between the rocks are a flight of steps. Local folklore states that these were carved by Fairies, and should you make a wish as you walk down them without touching the sides, it shall be granted.

However, something sinister can also be found lurking here - that of a demonic dog known as 'the Cappel'. As the daylight fades, this hell-hound prowls the rocks, and to see it is an omen of bad fortune. Do not gaze into its eyes or get close enough to smell its foul breath, for that is a portent of death.
