Spinster's Rock

Spinsters' Rock is situated on Shilstone Farm west of Drewsteignton, near the A382 road. The dolmen consist of three granite supports rising to between 1.7 and 2.3 metres surmounted by a capstone measuring 4.5 by 3.1 metres. It was supposedly created there by "spinsters or spinning women" according to Coxe.

The nearby Bradford Pool is reputedly haunted by an apparition that attempts to lure unsuspecting persons to their death.
