The apparition of a White Monk has been reported in the Lady Chapel area of Hereford Cathedral (pictured above). He is purported to be a Monk that was murdered by a Welshman in 1055.

High Street

A seventeenth-century house in High Street was moved to a new site 100 yards away in 1966. It took with it its reputation for being haunted by the apparition of an apothecary who poisoned his apprentice by accident, and full of remorse then took his own life.

The area of White Cross and Morning Pit are said to be haunted by a figure that might be the same responsible for the haunting at High Street.

Hereford is a cathedral city, civil parish and county town of Herefordshire, England.

It lies on the River Wye, approximately 16 miles east of the border with Wales, 24 miles southwest of Worcester, and 23 miles northwest of Gloucester.
