The Royal Hotel

Although the Royal Hotel no longer exists, does its apparition continue to wander what stands in its place? It was allegedly haunted by the apparition of a man “in tweed Norfolk jacket, knickerbockers and cap”, seen walking down the corridor from the hall to the ballroom, and then vanishing.

Hoylake is a seaside town within the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, Merseyside, England.

The town is located at the northwestern corner of the Wirral Peninsula, near to the town of West Kirby and where the River Dee estuary meets the Irish Sea.
