Felbrigg Hall

Felbrigg Hall, Garden and Park

Felbrigg Hall (pictured above) is a 17th-century country house now maintained by the National Trust. The house is noted for its Jacobean architecture and Georgian interior. Outside the house are a walled garden, an orangery and orchards.

The house is haunted by a male in 18th-century clothing that has been sighted sitting in an armchair reading a book. It has been suggested that this is the statesman, William Windham. His ghost is also blamed for the sounds of moving tables and chairs.
