The Swan Inn

River Bure

An ancient event is reportedly re-enacted on the banks of the River Bure. According to Coxe, it is best observed 100 yards downstream from the Swan Inn on the opposite side of the river. The event in question is the crowning of Ella, and early king of the Angles. Every five years the scene replays on July 21st.
