Sandringham

Sandringham Estate

Sandringham House is the private home of Queen Elizabeth II, and stands within a 20,000 acres estate. The original house on the site was Georgian, having been constructed in 1771. In 1862, the estate was purchased for Edward VII, then Prince of Wales, as a country home. Between 1870 and 1900, the house was almost completely rebuilt. The house was first opened to the public in 1977, and there is a museum with displays of royal life and estate history that is also open to public.

According to Coxe, the second floor servant quarters are the scene of "poltergeist activities", which take place on Christmas Eve. However, due to the cyclic nature, this does not seem to fit with the typical poltergeist cases which tend to be of a limited duration. The visual phenomenon of a "pulsating oaoer bag" or "grotesque lung" has been witnessed.
