Waxham Hall

Waxham Hall, now much altered from its original construction, was built by the Woodhouse family in about 1570. It is now a farmhouse and NOT open to the public.

According to Coxe, the Hall is reputedly haunted by up to 5 ghosts. In life they were members of the Brograve family who all died sudden deaths during the Crusades. In local folklore, an 18th-century owner of the house once invited them all to dinner.
