Alwinton, Northumberland, England

Church of St. Michael and All Angels

The Faceless Monk

According to Coxe, the Newcastle Institute of Psychic Research investigated a haunting here in 1967, whereby the apparition of a faceless monk was reported. This disconcerting phantom was also missing its hands and feet. Sadly, Coxe makes no mention of the exact location of the haunting.
