The Uffinton Horse

Uffington Horse

This iconic figure has been cut into the turf and maintains an impressive chalky presence over the Oxfordshire landscape. Some suggest that the figure is not a horse, but that of a dragon. Legend also has it that if you stand in the “eye” of the horse and make a wish, your wish will come true.
