White Lady of Longnor

According to Coxe, a White Lady haunts the village of Longnor. She is purported to have been a "pretty young girl" who took her own life by drowning in the stream.

 

Coxe does not provide a better location for the sighting of this apparition.

It lies on the A49 road, south of Dorrington and north of Leebotwood.
