River Parrett

The River Parrett is said to have a rather dark and sinister legend attached to it. Some say that the River demands an annual sacrifice – that of a man, woman and child in turn. On the Pawlett side of the banks, a phantom coach and horses has been reported.

Combwich (pronounced "Cummidge") is a village in Somerset, England.

It is lcoated in the parish of Otterhampton within the Sedgemoor district of between Bridgwater and the Steart Peninsula.
