Along the road between Harleston and Redenhall there once stood a tree that legend states grew from a stake that was driven through the heart of a suicide. Sources vary as to who the suidice was.

The Witches Pool

Along the River Waveney at Harleston can be found ‘The Witches Pool’, which is a place reputed to have been used for ducking those accused of witchcraft.

Harleston is a village in Suffolk, England.

It is situated just south of the Haughley Bends on the A14. It is located between the villages of Shelland and Onehouse, about 3 miles west of Stowmarket.
