Dobb's Grave

Dobb's Grave

Dobb’s Grave (above) is located in Kesgrave Wood, Dobb’s Lane. In life, Dobb was a shepherd who hung himself in a barn at Kesgrave Hall Farm. As suicides were not permitted to be buried within the walls of a churchyard, he was laid to rest where four paths cross. The grave is marked with stones according to Coxe in Haunted Britain.
