Puttenden Manor

The ghosts of a male and female, who announce themselves mainly via the sense of smell, reputedly haunt the Manor (pictured above). The aromas are associated with the specific gender as one is a very feminine scent, whereas the other is the smell of tobacco. However, footsteps have also been heard.

Dormansland is a large village in Surrey, England.

It is located approximately 1 mile south of Lingfield, and is bordered on the east by the county of Kent and on the south by West Sussex and East Sussex, the only area of the county which borders East Sussex.
