Brooklands

Brooklands Curcuit (remains of which are pictured above) is reputedly haunted by a phantom driver from a bygone age. He is described as wearing googles a leather helmet. Sources differ as to his identity in life. Strange audible phenomena have also been reported.

The Grotto Inn

The Grotto Inn is haunted by a boy and girl, which have been seen regularly upstairs. Witnesses have described them as wearing clothing from the eighteenth century. Audible phenomena include footsteps, moans and groans.

 

It is believed that the Grotto Inn is scheduled for demolition and plans submitted for flats to be built on the site.

The Oatlands Park Hotel

The Oatlands Park Hotel occupies the site of what was once Tudor Oatlands Palace, a favoured hunting lodge of Henry VIII.

 

An apparition of a woman, believed to have been a 19th Century serving girl, has been reported on the second floor.

The Skies over Weybridge

The Skies over Weybridge are said to echo with the sounds of a plane that crashed in the area during the 1930’s.

Weybridge is a town by the River Wey in Surrey, England.

It is bounded to the north by the River Thames at the mouth of the Wey, from which it gets its name. It is an outlying suburban town within the Greater London Urban Area, situated 7 miles northeast of Woking and 16 southwest of central London.
