Besford Court

Besford Court

Besford Court (pictured above) is a Grade II Listed Building dating from the early sixteenth century, and is constructed of a timber frame and plaster on stone foundations. It is reportedly haunted by a female in grey, which some have described as being a nun. However, there may be two grey ladies occupying the premises.

The Village

According to Russell Ash (1973) in Folklore, Myths and Legends of Britain, the ghost of a member of the Seabright family, who appears in a nightshirt, reputedly haunts the village.
