County Kilkenny (Irish: Contae Chill Chainnigh) is a county in Ireland. It is in the province of Leinster and is part of the South-East Region, and is named after the city of Kilkenny. It is the 16th largest of the 32 counties of Ireland in area.

County Kilkenny is bordered by Laois, Carlow, Wexford, Waterford and Tipperary.
