Castell-y-Mynach

Castell-y-Mynach (translates as Monk’s Castle) is reportedly haunted by a White Lady that walks through the “ancient monastic buildings”. She is described as having a flowing white dress and long black hair that falls over her shoulders, and carrying a bunch of Forget-me-not flowers. According to local legend, it is said that the White Lady is guarding some former monks treasure.

Garth Mountain

The slopes of Garth Mountain that overlooks Pentyrch, are said to haunted by a Green Lady that has been known to beckon to men. The sounds of her crying and wailing have also been reported. According to local legend, it is said that the Green Lady is also guarding some hoard of treasure.

Pentyrch is a community located on the western outskirts of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales.

The village is situated next to the Garth Mountain, high above the River Taff.
