The Ghost That Killed

There is a ghost story from around the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries that describes the ghost of a man named Gruffudd ap R ap Phylip Vychan, who killed a knight called Robinod.

Llansteffan, formerly also anglicized as Llan- or Lanstephan, is a village on the coast of Carmarthenshire in southwest Wales.

It lies on the western side of the River Tywi estuary, some seven miles below the county town of Carmarthen and opposite the village of Ferryside.
