A view of Pontyberem

Up In The Air

There is a curious tale from this village about a man visited each night by a spirit who took him out on journeys. The man would be flown through the air, in a manner similar to Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Past immortalised in Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol. The account was published in 1911, but provides no answer as to why the flights were taken.
