Abermeurig Mansion
The mansion was said to be visited by the ghost of its former owner, Dr Rogers in 1846. It appeared to John Davies, a young servant of the doctor. Rogers and Johns brother drowned in the river following a terrible storm. He appeared to inform John that he was to stop grieving because he was very happy in death, then left and John heard the door shut after him.
