Broginin

Broginin is the name of a very old farmhouse in Llanbadarn Fawr. A rather noisy ghost that would stomp on the stairs, wander around rooms and slam interior doors once troubled it. If it did not get any attention from that, it would illuminate the entire house and then vanish.

The ghost was said to be a White Lady. She was seen in the courtyard and described as a “tall handsome lady attired in a lust-ring white dress and her face covered by a silken veil”. However, she is said to have appeared in one of the rooms on a later occasion minus the veil, and her long brown hair was flowing over her shoulders. As so often with ghost stories, it seemed she wanted to reveal the presence of some money, and once found she was never seen again.
