Ffagnallt Hall

Ffagnallt Hall is situated on Halkyn Mountain near Rhesycae, and is home to a grisly artefact – that of the skull of Prince Dafydd. He was a fugitive of English injustice during the reign of Henry I. However, he was betrayed by his brother-in-law and poisoned in order to claim the bounty on his head. But just before he died, he stated that his head should remain at Ffagnallt – and then put a curse his murderer. The skull is kept in a glass-fronted case, and is said to be the source of some strange behaviour at the house should it ever be removed.
