The Clytha Arms

Clytha Pitch

The hill known as Clytha Pitch is said to be haunted by a headless horsewoman. She is said to be the victim of an enraged ex-lover who waited for her as she rode her horse home one night. As she rode past his hiding place, he jumped out and severed her head with a single blow. He then handed himself into the authorities and was later hanged for his dastardly deed.
