According to an old manuscript from which Roderick refers, there was a farmhouse that was haunted at Llandenny. Although the name was withheld, the circumstances we detailed in full. A particular room in the house was kept empty, save for one piece of furniture - a clothes press. The family would only venture into the room to use the press during daylight hours, as entry during the night would lead to all sorts of unusual phenomena.
Candles would be extinuguished by unearthy gusts of wind, and unusual sounds would emit fromthe clothes press.
