Maesmawr Hall Hotel

Maesmawr Hall Hotel

Maesmawr Hall was built shortly before 1600. It is now an exquisite "informally formal country house" hotel according to their website.

It was reputedly haunted. Some time ago, it is said that seven parsons cast the ghost into the waters of Llyn Tawr. The ghost apparently took the form of a bull and caused great problems outside the house and frightened livestock nearby. Present day phenomena are not stated by Brooks, but it is believed to be far less spectacular!
