In an old three bed-roomed terraced house at Pontnewydd in Cwmbran, the ghost of a cavalier has been witnessed. It is not known why this house is haunted by the cavalier. Ghostly footsteps have been heard, as well as the sounds of a baby crying, and items of jewellery have mysteriously gone missing...

Pontnewydd (English translation: Newbridge) was once a small village, but is now a suburb of Cwmbran in Torfaen, Wales.
It lies immediately north of the town centre.
