The Seven Stars (pictured above) is one of the oldest inns in the county, and was once frequented by highwaymen and other salubrious characters. It is a traditional old coaching inn, offering a very warm welcome to everyone.
It is said to be haunted by at least four apparitions that include a horseman dressed in black; a headless woman; and a phantom hound that accompanies a woman wearing “an old-fashioned bonnet”.
