St. Catherine's Chapel (pictured above) is situated on the hill overlooking the village. In the south doorway you will find the wishing holes – where people have put their knees in the lower hole and their hands in the ones above, then made a wish. Nowadays, most people simply drop a pin inside the pillar before making their want.
