Ribblesdale Arms

The Ribblesdale Arms closed around 2000, ending nearly 400 years of life as an inn. It was built in 1635 and initially served as a coaching inn. It has now been converted into private flats and is therefore not open to the public.

The building is reputedly haunted by a young girl named Mary was who apparently raped by Lord Ribblesdale sometime during its history. The distraught Mary was then pushed down the stairs by the evil Lord. She later hung herself.

She has been sighted in what was Room 13 of the Inn, and interfered with objects and a cassette players.
