The bridge at Acle is haunted by the phantom of a man who avenged the untimely death of his sister by slitting the throat of the murderer, her husband Josiah Burge. However, it is said that a year later, he too was killed, but this time the perpetrator was a ghostly skeleton. Every 7th April, the ghost appears on the bridge along with fresh blood. However, the old bridge has been replaced. Does this mean the haunting has ended?
