Salle, Norfolk, England

A view towards St Peter and St Paul's Church

St Peter and St Paul's Church

The church dates from the first part of the 15th century. Several lords of local manors, including the Boleyn family, vied with each other to fund the building of the church. There are brasses here to members of the Boleyn family.

It may come as no surprise therefore, that the ghost reported here as that of Anne Boleyn herself. Legend has it that Salle was her final resting place.
