The Abbey Church of St Peter and St Paul, more usually called Dorchester Abbey, is a Church of England parish church. It was formerly a Norman abbey church and was built on the site of a Saxon cathedral.
The abbey is the site of the grave of one Sarah Fletcher, who's restless spirit is said to frequent various nearby sites, including the George Hotel.
