Brockley Combe

Brockley Combe has been described as a very haunted place. This beauty spot is the haunt of a phantom coach pulled ny four horses, which Coxe and Brooks state has been responsible for several accidents.

 

A "ghostly hunt in full cry" led by a headless huntsman is another sight said to have caused accidents.

 

A wicked parson named Hibbertson or Hipperson (depending on the source) is also said to haunt the area.

Brockley Church

The church is reputedly haunted by an old lady who used to clean the church in the 1800's. The figure has been reported to be dressed in brown clothing.

Brockley Court

Brockley Court is reknowned in the area for its paranormal happenings, as well as attracting the attention of one noted investigator - none other than Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

 

The house is supposedly haunted by an old woman who allegedly instills madness to all that see her. Her apparition is said to appear every 26 years.

Brockley is a village in Somerset, England.

The parish is within the Unitary authority of North Somerset, about 3 miles south of Nailsea.
