St. Audries Bay

Between St. Audrie’s Farm and Perry Farm, a ghostly black dog haunts the four-mile stretch of road. However, at other parts a “grey shapeless thing” and occasionally a phantom coffin lying in the road have been reported.

Staple

Staple lies between St. Audries and Weacombe. Witnesses have reported the ghost of an old woman - referred to as the Woman of the Mist - who walks the mountains carrying a bundle of sticks.

Weacombe is a hamlet in Somerset, England.

It is situated in the civil parish of West Quantoxhead. It lies on the route of the Coleridge Way and on the A39 road at the foot of the Quantock Hills.
