The ghost of a woman reputedly haunts the Church of St. Mary the Virgin (pictured above). She is most commonly sighted near the tomb of Robert Clayton. She is described as wearing 17th century clothing.

The Red Lion

The Red Lion is allegedly haunted by a Grey lady, however it is claimed that her footsteps are heard more often than she is seen.

Bletchingley (historically "Blechingley") is a village in Surrey, England.

It is on the A25 road to the east of Redhill and to the west of Godstone, has a conservation area with medieval buildings and is mostly on a wide escarpment of the Greensand Ridge, which is followed by the Greensand Way.
