St. Mary's Church on Church Hill

Church Hill

The Church of St. Mary is located on Church Hill (pictured above), and it is here that a phantom coach and horses pulls up. It then waits for a few minutes before setting off down the hill towards the direction of the railway station. Some versions of the story state that the four horses are headless.

Horsell Common

Horsell Common is dense woodland that lies to the north and east of Horsell. Through it runs a stream called Danewell Gutter, where the apparition of a man carrying a rucksack has been reported.

Horsell is an ancient village in Surrey, England.

It is located less than a mile northwest of Woking town centre.
