Corsham High Street

The Well

Many years ago (on a date we are trying to ascertain), Lady Winifred Pennoyer was in company of two other young women, when two of the trio witnessed an Elemental. One of the women fainted and had to be carried home, the second was “profoundly affected”, whereas the third saw nothing. This particular Elemental was described as “an intensely malevolent little man, about two feet six inches high”. However, the author Coxe mentions some psychic investigators who believe that a “very evil monk” has transformed into this Elemental, but does not state where this information is derived from.
