The Devil Resides in Llanddulas

The Devil himself was supposed to live in one of the caves that occupy the hills overlooking the village.

Pendyffryn

Pendyffryn was a stone built house on the cliffs overlooking the village. In the 1900’s, it was owned by a Liverpool shipping magnate named Sir Alfred Jones.

Pendyffryn was said to be haunted by that of a female ghost, who was regarded as peaceful and appears in the same part of the house every so often, or after any alteration work has been undertaken on the property. It is believed that she is the ghost of an “elderly housekeeper”.
