A ruined farmhouse in Llangwm

Ystrad Fawr Farm

Ystrad Fawr Farm was once the scene of a haunting. The ghost was said to be a shape-shifter, appearing like “a turkey with his tail spread out like a spinning wheel”, as a tree on fire or a large dog chewing on a bone!

Pont Glyn-diffwys

The apparition of a lady in traditional welsh costume was reported sitting on a mound of stones at a bridge called Pont Glyn-diffwys near Llangwm, by a man who walked past her one night on his way home. The spot itself is called Tynant. He bid her goodnight as he passed, but received no response. Instead, the lady stood up and began to swell in size until she completely filled the road!
