Ty Gwyn Farm

A 300-year-old farmhouse high above Gilwern was the scene of ghostly goings-on back in the 1980’s. The activity included touches, footsteps, the “lingering scent” of petunia oil and a TV turning itself on.

Tyla

The apparition of a figure wearing “old fashioned clothing” and a hat that “dated back to the seventeenth century”, has been reported high up on Gilwern Hill near the old quarry pits, known locally as the Tyla (pictured above).

Gilwern is a village in Monmouthshire, Wales.

It is located just off the A465 road 3.5 miles west of the market town of Abergavenny.
